This shoe's upper is made with a high-performance yarn which contains at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic — reimagined plastic waste, intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, preventing it from polluting our ocean. The other 50% of the yarn is recycled polyester. We have reduced the carbon footprint of this pair of shoes by a minimum of 10% when compared to its previous version. Less greenhouse gas emissions, including CO2, for the full lifecycle — from creation all the way to end-of-life. Better Rubber is an innovative, sustainable compound made from 70% natural rubber, 20% virgin rubber and 10% conventional rubber.
