When it comes to Lil Yachty there's two things you know he'll have on-lock: music and sneakers. The rapper's sneaker knowledge far-surpasses many similarly famous musicians and with his debut Air Force 1 the proof is in the pudding.
Much like many of the special editions released throughout the early 2000s, the colourway on the 'Concrete Boys' AF1 is kept super simple. The premium with leather uppers bring a classic finish and the hits of deep navy blue provide just enough contrast to make sure anyone in-the-know can spot them.
Like the aforementioned early aughts releases, branding is kept minimal. The heel features an embroidered sledgehammer-wielding stick figure—the Concrete Boys mascot—along with a demolition scene de-bossed and printed onto the heel. The only other branding comes via the custom insoles sporting the 'It's Us' tagline which is also mirrored on the custom hangtag.
